Yarmouk Radio Station

Yarmouk Radio Station

Yarmouk Radio Station (YuFm) was established in 2006 as a result of cooperation between Yarmouk University, Western Kentucky University, and the Internews Networks of America. It was officially launched on 18/2/2007 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania, with the aim of serving the local community and providing opportunities for outstanding students in media and other disciplines to gain practical experience. The radio station has always relied entirely on students to prepare and present its daily and weekly programs. Yarmouk FM is considered the first university radio station in Jordan, and it carries the name and identity of Yarmouk University.

This underscores the importance of the radio station's presence in the northern region, its service and communication with its listeners, and its efforts to improve its performance and the message it delivers. Within Yarmouk University, the Yarmouk Radio is considered one of the important departments, playing a role in highlighting the university and its activities in developing the local community.
