90 Article (18): a. All disciplinary decisions issued by the competent authorities specified in these regulations shall be subject to a single administrative appeal before the Council of Deans, within fifteen days from the day following the date of notification, except for the penalties stipulated in paragraphs (1, 2, 3) of Article (3) of these regulations. b. Submission of an appeal by the student pursuant to paragraph (a) of this Article shall not prevent the enforcement of the penalty. c. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of this Article, the Council of Deans has the authority to consider reducing the penalty or postponing it to any semester and at any time. Article (19): In the event that the penalty of temporary suspension or permanent dismissal from the University is imposed, the dismissed student’s identification card shall be withdrawn, and the student shall be prohibited from entering the University campus except with permission from the competent University authorities. Article (20): The Investigation Committees shall notify the Admission and Registration Department that the student has been referred for investigation, in order to suspend any transactions concerning the student at the University. Article (21): The Investigation Committees shall decide on cases referred to them concerning graduating students within a period not exceeding thirty (30) days from the date of referral. The Dean or the Director of the Center may extend this period if circumstances so require. Article (22): No student may claim ignorance of the University’s laws, regulations, instructions, or decisions, nor matters published on its notice boards. Article (23): The University may proceed with the disciplinary procedures stipulated in these regulations even if the violation is under judicial consideration or has been adjudicated by a court
