78 Instructions No. (4) of 2022: Student Disciplinary Procedures at Yarmouk University and Their Amendments Article (1): These regulations shall be called the ‘Student Disciplinary Procedures at Yarmouk University and Their Amendments’ Instruction No. (4) of 2022 and its Amendments,’ and shall come into effect on 18/1/20241. Article (2):The provisions of these regulations apply to all students of Yarmouk University, including those enrolled in its affiliated scientific centers, for violations committed within the University, unless otherwise stipulated for violations occurring outside the University. Article (3): a. If a student commits any of the violations stipulated in these regulations, and after being investigated or questioned, one of the following disciplinary penalties shall be imposed, depending on the severity of the violation and the circumstances of its commission: 1. Written warning. 2. First warning or final warning. 3. A fine of not less than twice the current value of the damaged property. 4. Temporary suspension from accessing or using one or more University facilities where the violation occurred. 5. Temporary suspension from participating in one or more student activities in which the violation occurred. 6. Suspension of stipend, scholarship, or denial of loans, with recovery of any amounts previously disbursed to the student. 7. Failure recorded in one or more courses during the semester in which the violation occurred, with a grade of “zero” entered on the student’s record. 8. Cancellation of examinations in one or more courses during the same academic semester, with a grade of “zero” recorded in the affected courses. 9. Temporary suspension from the University for a period ranging from one semester to four semesters; the summer semester shall be counted as a full semester for this purpose. 10. Permanent expulsion from the University. 11. Suspension of degree conferral for a period not exceeding two semesters, in the case of a graduating student. 12. Revocation of an academic degree. 1 The amendments to these regulations were approved by the University Council in its second session for the 2023/2024 academic year, held on 18/1/2024, and these regulations shall be effective as of 18/1/2024.
