76 c. The annual cap for outpatient consultation and medication costs shall be limited to 100 Jordanian Dinars. d. In no case shall the University contribute more than 700 Jordanian Dinars per subscriber in annual medical costs, although the committee could recommend an increase of this ceiling to the University President in cases of necessity. Article (11): The University shall fully pay for medical treatment in the event that the subscriber is injured while participating in a student activity that is officially organized or while performing a task assigned by the University. Repeated Treatment Article 12: a. The annual ceiling for repeated treatment in relation to the chronic and severe conditions of each subscriber shall be 300 Jordanian Dinars, with this being a decision of the committee according to a medical report which stipulates the condition. b. In exceptional cases, the President of the University can override the repeated treatment ceiling upon the recommendation of the committee. Cases Not Covered by Health Insurance Article (13): The University health insurance plan does not cover the following instances: a. Medical expenses due to allegations of criminal or illegal activity, unless it has been determined that no party has any liability for the expenses, in which case matters shall be referred to the committee and a recommendation shall be made to the President of the University for a final decision. b. Treatment for addictions to alcohol, drugs, or psychoactive substances. c. Cosmetic procedures where the treatment is not medically necessary. d. Medical assistive devices or prostheses, unless the need arises from an injury sustained while involved in an official university student activity. e. Any medical treatment related to infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, or miscarriage. f. Toothpaste, soap, shampoo, creams and ointments, including those used for acne or sun protection. g. Any medical treatment obtained outside of Jordan. h. All types of vaccinations, unless otherwise allowed by the University.
