66 Academic Load: A minimum of (6) credit hours and a maximum of (9) credit hours during the first and second semesters, with a maximum of (6) credit hours in the summer semester. Postponement of Study: 1- A student may postpone their studies for a period not exceeding in total of one academic semester excluding the summer semester, by a decision of the dean based on the request that submitted by the students and upon the recommendation of The Graduate Studies Committee in the department, provided that the request is made within the first eight weeks of the semester in which the student wants to postpone their studies. The decision shall be reported to the director of Admission and Registration and the concerned department. The duration of postponement shall not be counted to the maximum number of years allowed for study. 2- The postponement of study shall not be granted to a student in the first academic semester of their admission to the program, this also applies to a student transferring from one program to another. A valid English language proficiency certificate (for applicants who have successfully passed the exam, and whose exam date is no more than two years from the application date). A medical report for those covered by the Higher Education Council Resolution No. (10/1/1712) concerning individuals with a disability (visual impairment, hearing impairment, cerebral disability), certified by the medical committee at Yarmouk University through the Language Center. 4.
