58 The Council of Deans decided in its meeting No. (24/2014) held on 16/6/2014 the following: - If a student is dismissed from the university (as a disciplinary penalty) in any semester, (50%) of the university fees is refunded to him for that semester; if he is dismissed again, the fees will not be refunded to him. - Canceling the allocation of fees automatically for students who withdraw the courses that are not included in their study plan after the end of the withdrawal and addition period. The Council of Deans issued the following instructions in its meeting [no. (41/2015] held on 21/12/2015: Approval of the amendment of the decision of the Council of Deans No. (151/2010) in its meeting No. (10/2010) on 15/3/2010: 1. It is approved to exempt students who pass the placement exam of (Comp 099), computer skills, (remedial) from studying this course, and the student has to study the course in case he fails the test. 2. A student who holds ICDL or Cambridge Certificate will be charged with (COM.099) (3) credit hours in the first two years of his study at the university, provided that the academic load does not exceed (18) credit hours in the first and second semesters and (12) credit hours in the summer; the academic load might be (21) credit hours in the first and second semesters if the cumulative average is (80%) or more, it has been implemented since the beginning of the academic year 2016/2017. 3. Students of Engineering and Media are not allowed to register courses that are related to the field of their training, regardless of the place of training, whether internal or external, and the result of any student will not be approved if it is related to their field training (decided by the Council of Deans in the meeting no. 26/2017 on 17/7/2017).
