48 Placing Students on Probation Article 11: A. The student is placed under probation if his/her cumulative average is less than (60%) at the end of any semester, except for the first semester at the university, as well as the summer semester. The Admission and Registration Department notifies the student on his website. B. The student who has been placed on probation must remove the reasons that led to his placement on probation within two semesters maximum, (two of them shouldn’t be a summer semester), after the semester in which he was placed on probation due to his results. C. If the student is unable to remove the reasons that led to his placement under probation according to paragraph (b) of this article, he will be dismissed from his specialization. D. Every student who has successfully completed (90) credit hours in all faculties, except for Hijawi Faculty of Technological Engineering and Faculty of Pharmacy, is excluded from the dismissal from his Specialization, provided that the student has successfully completed at least (99) credit hours. E. Any student who obtains a cumulative average of less than (50%) in any semester except the first semester of his enrollment in the university as well as the summer semester will be dismissed from the department and may not return unless he studies at least (12) credit hours that are included in the calculation of his average.
