46 a. If the student is expected to graduate in that semester, he can apply for an incomplete exam within a period of (72) hours maximum within the last date of the end of the final exams according to the university calendar for the first, second and summer semesters in order to be able to graduate in the same semester; if he does not take the exam within this period, he will be subject to the provisions of paragraph (b) below. (Amended by the Council of Deans Resolution No. 472/2023 dated 25/9/2023) b. If the student is not expected to graduate in that semester, he must the incomplete exam within a period of three weeks maximum at the beginning of the following semester in which he obtains the grade of "incomplete during the first and second semesters, and two weeks from the beginning of the summer semester. Summer semester is considered as a semester for this purpose if the student registers it. (Amended by the Council of Deans Resolution No. 472/2023 dated 25/9/2023). c. If the student is unable to take the exam within the stipulated period, his score will be considered zero. (Decision of the Council of Deans in its meeting No. 12/2016 dated 7/3/2016). 4. A student who gets an incomplete grade in one of the courses may postpone the removal of an incomplete grade for that course to the next semester in the following cases: a. If the student postpones his study to the next semester. b. If the student is not registered for the following summer semester. c. If the faculty member does not teach during the next semester, the head of the course department should form a committee to hold an exam for the student in this course and send his grade to the Admission and Registration Department within the period stipulated in the instructions. Article 9/G/4 was amended by the decision of the Council of Deans in its meeting No. 45/2014 on 17/11/2014. d. 1. The minimum grade for passing a course is (50%) and the minimum grade for the final is (35%). 2.
