Applications for Master's and Doctoral Programs for Jordanian and Non-Jordanian Students

The Dean of the Deanship of the Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at Yarmouk University announces the start of submitting applications for admission to the postgraduate programs (higher diploma in education, MA and PhD) for Jordanian and non-Jordanian students for the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022 starting from Sunday 7/18/2021 Until Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Before submitting the application, read the attached brochure to know the majors you are allowed to apply for. The student holds responsibility for the inconsistent applications.

The university has the right to cancel any program if it is not approved by the accreditation body or if the number of the applicants is incomplete.

Students who have previously been dismissed from any postgraduate program may not apply for the major from which they were expelled, as their application will be cancelled.

The applicant must have taken a level exam or its equivalent with a valid (successful) result (the exam should not be before the date of 20/9/2019).

In the absence of a level exam or its equivalent, the student must enter a mark (1) in the mark field, choose (level exam - Yarmouk University) from the exam type field, and enter the date (1/1/2021) in the exam date field. (For more information, see the conditions for applying for admission below).

Students expected to graduate in the summer semester 2020/2021 may apply for admission to graduate programs, provided that they bring a document from the Admission and Registration Department stating that the student is expected to graduate in the summer semester 2020/2021.

Yarmouk universities announces the launch of the Diploma program in the art of teaching and learning on the first semester 2020/2021. The dates of receiving the applications in this program, which will be presented by the faculty of education, will be announced later on the university website.

The make-up exam of the courses presented by the Language Center will be held online on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 for students whose incomplete applications were approved as well as students who have missed the session of 15/6/2020 or those who had technical problems during the exam as shown below:

The incomplete exam will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. through the Quizz platform, e-Learning for the last semester through the website of each of the teachers of the National Education sections (i.e. each student will take the exam through E-Learning for his teacher for the second semester). Not taking the exam would result in having a zero score.

The final exam for the Computer Skills Course (SCI108) will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m through Quizz platform.

The (supplementary) Competency- Based Test will be held for students expected to graduate in the second and summer semesters of the 2019/2020 academic year (online).



1- for students specialized in Medicine and surgery (basic and clinical) , the test will be held on Monday 6-7-2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Yarmouk University announces the start of applications for bachelor's degree in parallel and international programs for the first semester 2019/2020 for students who have received high school or equivalent as follows:

- Non-Jordanian students in the international programs to specialize in medicine and parallel in the rest of majors.

- Jordanian students (who receive non-Jordanian high school or jordanian high school in previous years) in the parallel program for all disciplines.

Note: Applications for Jordanian high school students will be opened for the current year after the issuance of the high school results.

Minimum admission:·

(85%) In the discipline of medicine and for the scientific branch only.

 (80%) In pharmacy and engineering disciplines.

 (75%) In the disciplines of the Faculty of Sharia.

Achieving a minimum admission rate does not mean that acceptance is necessary, but that the vacancy should be available.

Applicants for the disciplines of the Faculty of Arts are subjected to an abilities test to be announced later.

3- 50% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the second week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

4- 25% of the approved hour fees are refunded only if the student withdraws from the university during the third week of starting the study according to the university calendar.

5- In cases where the student accepts or withdraws from the university after the end of the third week of starting the study, nothing is refunded except the damage refunds (insurances).

-The student should not be a beneficiary of the student support funds (loans and grants) for this semester.
-The student should be financially needy
-The student's academic rate should be at least 60%
-The student has not been sentenced to disciplinary punishment above the notice and has not been in the execution (or the end of its execution in the case of temporary dismissal from the university) more than one year

 

 

The deanship of student affairs at Yarmouk University invites students who want to benefit from the student employment program at the University for the first semester of the university year 2019/2020 to review the head of Loans and Assistance department in the Student Services department in the deanship of Student Affairs Office No. (121) or office No. (114), to receive the form approved for this purpose as of Thursday 11/7/2019. The deadline to deliver the application to the same office, supported by the required documents and indicated in the employing request, is Tuesday, 30/7/2019

Conditions for submitting the application:

* The student must not be an envoy or an employee.
*The student should not be a beneficiary of the student support funds or apply for a loan or assistance for the first semester 2019/2020.
*No disciplinary punishment has been imposed, except for the penalty of warning
* The cumulative rate should not be less than 60%

 

 

The deanship of student affairs at Yarmouk University invites students who wish to receive a loan of 9 hours for the first semester of the university year 2019/2020 to review the Department of Loans and Assistance in the Student Services division in the deanship of Student Affairs, office No. (121) or office No. (114) to receive the model approved for this purpose as of Thursday 11/7/2019. The deadline to deliver the application to the same office supported by the required documents as it described in the loan application is on Tuesday, 30/7/2019.

Conditions to submit the application:
1. The student should not be beneficiary of any student fund Support (loans, grants) for this semester.
2. Not to be an envoy
3. The student should not be accepted in the parallel program or graduate studies.
4-The student must not have received a warning and more.
5-The student should not have benefited from four loans from the university.
6. The cumulative rate should not be less than 60%

 

 

The Dean of scientific Research and graduate studies announces the initiation of applications to transfer from the comprehensive examination track to the thesis track and vice versa for the Summer semester 2018/2019 electronically, through the Student Information System (SIS), starting from Sunday, 7/7/2019 until the evening of Sunday 14/7/2019. No request will be accepted after this date, nor will any paper request be adopted.

 Note: transfer applications for any major will only be considered when a supervisor is available, and the supervisory director is allowed to do so in accordance with the instructions.

Terms and conditions to submit transition requests:

The Council of Deans at its session No. (45/2018) on the date of 3/12/2018 decided that concerning the conditions of transferring from the comprehensive exam to thesis that the student who want to transfer study  should finish studying (18) credit hours of his study plan (comprehensive exam  track) at a rate of at least (80%), subject to availability of supervisor from the academic department of the student.

Note: All previous transfer applications made by students are void.

The competency-based (makeup) test is to be held for students expected to graduate in the summer semester 2018-2019 and students who graduated in the second semester 2018-2019, and have not been tested definitively, on Monday 15-7-2019 at 9 am, in al-Khawarizmi building, first floor.

 

The Dean of scientific research and graduate studies at Yarmouk University announces the introduction of transfer applications from one major to another in graduate programs for the first semester 2019/2020 from Thursday 27/6/2019 until the end of the official working hours of Thursday, 25/7/2019, and will not allow to apply for a transfer after this date, and for those who wish to apply for the transfer pay the fees in the financial department and then apply.

** Instructions, plans and applicable laws will be applied on the semester and year of transition.
