Programs and Study Plans' Axis Strategic objective Preparing highly qualified graduates, scientifically and practically, with the capacity to produce knowledge and to compete in the labor market and contributes effectively to the development of society. Sub-objectives: First: Building study plans for all the academic programs offered by the university in line with the real needs of the local and regional labor market, and keep pace with modern trends in higher education, rapid technological development, and meeting the standards of quality control and national and international accreditation. Actions required to achieve the objective: 1. Modifying study plans in the university according to the modern trends in higher education to focus on the student rather than the teacher, and on learning outcomes that are clear, specific, and measurable rather than goals. 2. Designing study plans that help students to achieve the required levels of knowledge, cognitive skills (Critical Thinking and Creativity), applied and professional skills as well as general and transferable skills. 3. Designing study plans so that their outcomes are aligned with local and regional market needs based on analytical survey studies. 4. Conducting a periodical review of programs and study plans through addressing weakness points and disadvantages in a manner that ensures continuous development of these plans and programs, in line with developments on the local, regional and global levels. 5. Developing a self-assessment system for educational outcomes.
