About the Conference
In celebration of fifty years of academic excellence, the Faculty of Science at Yarmouk University, in partnership with Tishk International University (Erbil, Iraq), proposes the organization of SCIGLOBE2026, a focused two-day interdisciplinary scientific conference. The event aims to highlight the faculty's historical achievements, current research strengths, and future directions, while emphasizing sustainability, innovation, and interdisciplinary convergence.
SCIGLOBE2026 is intentionally designed as a high-impact, low-cost academic event, prioritizing scientific quality, regional relevance, and strategic visibility rather than scale. The conference will leverage local expertise, regional collaborations, and hybrid participation to maximize impact. This model aligns with best practices adopted by many universities for jubilee and thematic conferences, where focused duration and targeted outputs enhance academic value while ensuring sustainability and feasibility.

Enhancing academic value and visibility through strategic publication outlets
Selected papers from the conference will be considered for publication in special issues of Scopus-indexed international journals. The final list of journals is under confirmation and will be announced soon.

All accepted abstracts will be published in a conference abstract book, providing visibility for all participants.

Selected high-quality contributions will be invited for submission to special issues of regional peer-reviewed journals:

Both in-person and online participation options are available.
Venue
Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan
The SCIGLOBE2026 International Conference will be held at the Conference and Seminar Building of Yarmouk University.
Accommodation
Accommodation is included in the registration fee at a designated hotel in Irbid. Further details will be provided soon.
Visa to Jordan
Participants must hold a passport valid for at least six months and are advised to check visa requirements in advance.
Poster Competition
Graduate students are encouraged to participate in the poster session. Outstanding posters will be recognized with awards. Further details, including poster format and submission guidelines, will be announced soon.
Social Program
Campus Tour
A guided campus tour will be held during the conference (14–15 October 2026), featuring visits to the Museum of Jordanian Heritage and the Jordanian Natural History Museum. Participation is free.
Post-conference Trip
Umm Qais Excursion
An optional trip to Umm Qais will be organized, combining history, culture, and natural beauty. The site features remarkable Greco-Roman ruins and panoramic views of the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, and the Yarmouk River.
