The school was establishedÂ in the academic year 1979-1980. The number of the students has reached 2497 in 2010-2011distributed into three stages which are :
- KG and the first three grades: 672 students
- The low basic stage: 567 students
- The high basic and the secondry stage: 1258 students
The school consists of the head master and assistants who are responsible for planning the teaching policies and promoting the administrative staff. The supervision team of the school consists of well qualified and experienced teachers to follow the performance of the school staff and to develop it. The school staff is about 160 teachers who were appointed carefully for the purpose of teaching. They are assisted by 24 employees.

- A video hall equipped with modern equipments for holding meeting and lectures

- Halls for vocational education
- A guidance department
- A healthy clinic

All these properties are harmonized together to perform educational activities and to celebrate national and religious occasions that Jordan families live.Â Moreover, they enrich the students experience and improve their values attitudes and loyality to the Hashimate family .
Model school is responsible for:
Enhancing the concept of loyality to the leadership and the homelandÂ through historical references.
Directing school activities to enhance the sense of belonging and patriotism.
Defining the cultural and national curriculum of Jordan
Clarifying the tolerant values of Islam in the students minds by applying the national and promotion plan
Including the concepts of civil education and civil rights in the educational curricula to achieve the vision forÂ building the nation of justice and equality and equal opportunities.
Raising the efficiency of the educational system and improving the level of the educational process and containing educational development plans with an emphasis on the role of education in the process of the democratic transition.
In respect of parents, the school opens the channel of communication and seeks with them to complete the melting- pot work since and upgrading the educational process through the council of parents and teachers and stand on the results of their children through the school information system which was started in the academic year 2007/2008, which allow parents to follow their children scientific and behavioral system.
